As a University of Toronto undergraduate studying economics and history, Maeve enjoys combining data analysis with traditional reporting methods. She has used statistics-based research to find scoops on topics such as student club budgets and poorly-performing U of T academic departments. Her investigation into the labour practices behind University of Toronto merchandise was shortlisted for the Canadian University Press’ 2023 John H. MacDonald Award for Investigative Journalism. When not at her laptop, Maeve enjoys exploring Toronto neighbourhoods and rock-climbing.
