Carly is a Toronto-based journalist with a passion for making numbers on a page into personal, human stories. She is happiest when learning (formally or informally) and her research interests include social media, housing, education and health. Carly is a graduate of the master of journalism program at Toronto Metropolitan University where she worked with the Local News Data Hub. She holds a degree in psychology from Mount Allison University with a focus in multisensory perception. Carly loves improvisational comedy, running and overthinking pop culture. Her work has appeared in the National Post, This Magazine and The Canadian Press.
