The NDP, Green Party and Bloc Québécois (BQ) are calling for the Liberal Party to stop letting lobbyists attend fundraisers following an IJF investigation that revealed “cash-for-access” fundraisers continue unabated.

Earlier this month, the IJF reported that 166 lobbyists had attended Liberal Party fundraising events between January 2019 to July 2022. Most of them were registered to lobby the federal department whose minister was also at the event.
