Justin Trudeau’s government is selling an average of $1.3 billion in weapons to authoritarian countries per year.

That’s an eight-fold jump from Stephen Harper’s tenure as prime minister, when Canada exported an average of $161 million in weapons to authoritarian countries annually, according to an analysis by the Investigative Journalism Foundation.
