Doug Ford’s government has quietly increased the amount of government money going to two private hospitals run by his donors.

Shouldice Hospital and Don Mills Surgical Unit got a combined $13.2 million from the Ontario government last year. That’s a 60 per cent increase from the $8.3 million they received every year between 2011 and 2019.
