A longtime former cabinet minister in Progressive Conservative governments in Ontario and Conservative governments in Ottawa is now actively lobbying on behalf of a skills-training organization.

Tony Clement’s first registration  in the IJF’s lobbying databases is dated  Aug. 6, registering to lobby the Ontario government on behalf of Palette Skills. The Toronto-based non-profit trains workers to help them make the jump to new industries, offering courses in subjects like cybersecurity, clean technology and agricultural technology.
