Sharon Payton

Sharon is an operations professional with more than 25 years of experience working across media, nonprofit, and private-sector organizations, focused on operations, coordination, and organizational support. She began her career at a music publishing company in London, England, before returning to Canada to work at CHUM Television and Radio, including MuchMusic. More recently, she assisted in the construction and opening of Marigold Hospice Care in Clarington, supporting operations, communications, and fundraising initiatives. She serves on the board of a community hall and organizes events in support of community charities. When not working, she enjoys gardening, growing her own vegetables, and negotiating daily with two demanding, mischievous cats.
