Oscar Heath

Oscar Heath is an incoming fourth year undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, studying Data Science, Computer Science and Mathematics. He is passionate about applying methods from machine learning and statistics to other fields in meaningful ways, including task automation, protein discovery and privacy-preserving machine learning. He has pushed these ideas forward in academic research with U of T professors, computational biology research with the U of T iGEM synthetic biology team as well as his hackathon projects.
