On Aug. 14, Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.-based lawyer Joseph Greco made a $2,000 donation to the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario, the biggest donation he had made to that party to date.

Two weeks later, Greco was appointed the newest member of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Board, according to records in the IJF’s appointments database.
