Bill S-211, proposed by Sen. Marty Deacon, was tabled in the Senate on May 28. It was her second attempt to pass legislation that would establish a framework for limiting sports betting advertising in Canada, and setting “national standards for the prevention of risk for persons negatively impacted.”
