A confidential report flagged an exodus of female staff at Canada’s spy agency after female agents reported being sexually assaulted by a co-worker.
A January 2024 report commissioned by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) said part of the agency’s B.C. office was suffering from “high turnover,” ineffective procedures for addressing workplace harassment and bullying, and a lack of confidence in senior leadership.
