The successor to a Canadian charity that lost its registration for using its money to support the Israeli military has now had its charitable status revoked as well.
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) says it revoked the registration of The Emunim Fund on Sept. 20. A public summary of the reasons says the religious foundation had an “ineligible individual” as a director, and an audit found it “was not operated for exclusively charitable purposes and failed to adequately maintain and provide books and records.”
