The Investigative Journalism Foundation is proud to welcome Angela Amato as our new reporter digging into the local issues affecting people in Edmonton and across Alberta.

Angela is the IJF’s first-ever Alberta reporter, and her position was made possible through funding from the Local Journalism Initiative. She hopes to report on a wide range of underreported stories in the province’s capital, but is especially interested in Indigenous issues and police accountability.
