Honda, Toyota, Kia, General Motors, FCA, Ford Motor Company, Nissan and Tesla collectively lobbied federal officials 152 times in October, according to the federal lobbying registry.

The meetings targeted MPs, policy advisors, chiefs of staff, cabinet ministers and the prime minister to discuss a range of auto industry issues, including tariffs and the federal zero emissions vehicle (ZEV) mandate.
