A Vancouver venture capitalist is arguing that new measures the B.C. government enacted to fight white-collar crime are unconstitutional. 

Lucas Christopher Birdsall has launched a constitutional challenge against the B.C. Securities Commission, arguing it should not have the power to unilaterally fine and penalize people who refuse to cooperate with its investigations.
