Ninah is an early-career reporter based in Toronto, currently focused on the Residential Schools database. She was raised between Toronto’s Beaches neighbourhood and Batchewana First Nation, where her maternal grandparents live—experiences that helped shape her strong connection to both urban and community life. Ninah studied journalism at Toronto Metropolitan University and is currently completing her studies. In her free time, she enjoys reading, singing, photography and creating art. She often dedicates her spare moments to passion projects and exploring the city’s thrift shops in search of unique finds.
